What is the process when we receive your file?
After receiving your PDF, we will conduct an automated FileCheck of your document to verify its compliance with our production standards. Our FileCheck process is highly advanced within the industry and can rectify numerous common problems to prepare the file for printing.
We aim for your files to print flawlessly.
We desire your graphic files to be easily printable and to accurately reflect your intended appearance. To be transparent, a significant portion of instances where printing doesn't meet expectations stems from the files provided to us. Even if you possess substantial experience in supplying print-ready files, we encourage you to review these guidelines. Our printing process may differ from what you're accustomed to. If you're working on a complex design, we recommend getting in touch with us before commencing or consulting our 'Supplying Artwork' pages.
After the FileCheck process, we will:
- If there are no errors detected in your PDF, we will proceed with printing without sending you a proof.
- If errors are identified and subsequently corrected, resulting in changes to the visual appearance of your graphic file, we will provide you with a proof along with a list detailing the modifications made.
- If your PDF fail our preflight assessment, we will request a new file from you. If you are unable to rectify the issue and wish for us to do so, we will provide you with a fixed-price quote for the necessary adjustments.
At times, certain issues, such as low-resolution images, may be beyond our ability to correct. In such instances, we will contact you to discuss the best course of action. If manual corrections to your PDF are required, a nominal fee may apply.
I don’t have a PDF. Is it possible to work with my original file format?
Yes, indeed. We have a preference for PDF files, but if you do not possess one, we can still collaborate using your original files. Please reach out to us for a detailed discussion about your project.
